Running throughout spring and summer 2021, The Essex Picnic Club is our latest social media campaign which aims to encourage one and all to make the most of great Essex produce and a fabulous British summer.

As the weather is getting warmer and Covid restrictions continue to relax, take a moment to share some images of your picnics with friends or family in Essex on social media using the hashtag #TheEssexPicnicClub and we’ll share it – especially if your basket contains some Essex-produced food and drink items!

As well as finding out about great local shops and eateries to visit in your area, on our social media channels you’ll also find delicious flavours to pack for your picnic; for inspiration and to find wonderful Essex producers and suppliers, make sure to check out the Essex listings page.

There are some fantastic competitions coming up too, giving our followers the chance to win fabulous prizes such as a luxury afternoon tea box for two from Blackwells Farm. Delicious!
