A new and adventurous home shopping delivery service gets ready to position themselves to deliver a locally-sourced Christmas.

Watts Farms in Kent have a reputation for delivering high quality vegetables to Michelin-starred restaurants, hotels and high end caterers in the south east, but following the closure of restaurants during lockdown, the team repurposed this part of the business and began selling their produce direct to the consumer.

“We are working with a farmer in Canterbury who is currently rearing free range bronze turkeys for us to deliver just before Christmas. We are also working with Hole Park Estate in Cranbrook to source local non-drop Christmas trees so that customers can order their trees from us along with their turkeys, vegetables and desserts. We are working with a range of fantastic suppliers including Chapel Down, an amazing pie producer (who uses our coriander in some of their pies), Paul’s desserts, and high quality producers of free range meat and fresh fish. And while we may see people gathering in smaller numbers at Christmas, we know from our customers that they still want to be able to enjoy a colourful and tasty Christmas.”

Alongside the colourful kales and cabbages from Watts Farms fields in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire, consumers can order the very best quality meats, fish, deli items, desserts and pies and be confident that the produce is going to be the best they can source locally, while ordering remains easy and delivery slots in abundance.

Watts Farms have lots of delivery slots available to cope with Christmas demand.
