Bee Walks at Brogdale Farm

The orchards at Brogdale Farm are lovely during late spring and early summer – exploding with flowers, wildlife and budding fruits.

It is also one of the best times of year to spot bees!

The guided Bee Walks taking place 1st - 3rd June will encourage children to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the orchards this time of year and explore bees and other insects attracted to Brogdale’s thousands of fruit trees.

There will also be an exhibition about bees where visitors can see what it feels like to be a bee, learn about pollination, make their own bees and look inside a hive to find where honey is made. Children finish their day creating their own pollinator-friendly mini-wildflower patch to take home and share the joys of bee watching with the rest of the family.
