Following on from winning silver at The International Spirits Challenge in 2020, Deal based pre-mixed drinks company Cocktail In A Bottle have managed to come joint 2nd in the World's Best Contemporary Cocktail category for the World Pre-Mix Awards, a new category of the World Drinks Awards which showcases the worlds best spirits in an annual competition.

The cocktail in question is 'Cigarettes & Coffee', a rebellious Southern riff on the Espresso Martini that uses bourbon, mezcal and a rare tobacco liqueur which is blended with coffee roasted by Hog & Bean cafe, also based in Deal.

Owner, Karl Wozny says, "Cigarettes & Coffee" was my first bottled cocktail when I launched Cocktail In A Bottle in 2018. It's quite left field, so doesn't sell as well as some of my other ready to drink bottled cocktails, but I still love it, which is why I thought it could stand up to scrutiny in a competition and I'm pleased that the judges agreed. It's nice to now be on the world stage with my brand and i look forward to hopefully winning gild next year with another product from my range :-)
