Happy Beerthday Canterbury Ales!

At Canterbury Ales we celebrated 10 years of brewing by producing the kind of limited-edition cask ale that our young brewer Alex would like to drink himself!

Continuing his exploration of New World Hops he’s produced a strong golden 5% ale heavy on the Rakau. It’ll be out there in pubs this week.

The Canterbury Ales was established in 2010. After a career change that allowed me to follow my passion for brewing, I first brewed professionally on 17^th September 2010. We had been planning a big 10-year celebration this year but have obviously scaled things back. Over the last couple of years, I’ve so enjoyed sharing my knowledge and love of brewing with Alex our young brewer that I thought what better way to celebrate than to ask him to take on the design of our birthday brew.
