We are putting together a charming socially distanced Harvest Feastival on Sat 19th Sept 10am - 6pm. There will be stalls showcasing local producers and activities and alpaca treks and great street food from Freddie Southwell at Wild Seasoning Kitchen.
His exciting fusion menu highlights the best of local produce and wild foraged ingredients from the Reuthes Estate. The menu will include:
Wilderness Asian inspired Bowl food
BBQ (pine smoked) Vietnamese south coast mackerel, wild forage herb salad, Reuthe’s kousa fruit chilli jam with crispy shallots & garlic
Malay grilled chart farm venison, local Reuthe’s chestnut & peanut sate sauce with a autumnal spiced pickled vegetables & pineapple salad
Chiang Mai inspired wild boar sausage & Reuthe’s roasted quince jungle curry with coconut braised jasmine rice & lotus root crisps
Korean bbq king oyster mushroom croquettes with cucumber kimichi & sriracha mayo
