Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August, customers at participating Shepherd Neame venues will be able to enjoy a discount of 50% off all food and soft drinks, up to a value of £10 per person.

To celebrate the initiative, a limited edition premium menu will be on offer throughout August at a number of Shepherd Neame’s managed pubs and hotels. Dishes will include lobster and frites, dressed crab salad, grilled fillet steak, lamb rump steak, satay crab legs and satay whole crabs. And diners won’t just be supporting their local, they will also be supporting local suppliers, with the lobster and crab sourced from Chapmans Fish in Sevenoaks, beef and lamb from Kent master butchers Joseph & Henry, and the satay sauce created by Karimix, based in Selling outside Faversham.

Jonathan Neame, Chief Executive of the independent family company which has 320 pubs and hotels throughout Kent, London and the South East, said: “We warmly welcome the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out discount scheme to support the hospitality sector. We hope it will drive footfall during August, helping to secure the future of our pubs and hotels and protect jobs.”
