Following a challenging nine months, Matt gave his team time off on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and launched Festive Feasts to replace meals that would usually be enjoyed at his two restaurants.

The Christmas Day menu sold out and and when Kent moved to Tier 3 and then Tier 4 restrictions The Corner House added a New Year’s Eve menu. The response to both menus was fantastic with more than 220 At Home meals sold on Christmas Day and 120 sold for New Year’s Eve.

Matt said, “It was quite a year but what has been heartwarming and encouraging is the support we’ve received from our wonderful guests. More people enjoyed our food at home this Christmas than could ever have fitted into both restaurants and it was wonderful to be able to bring The Corner House experience into so many homes.”

The Corner House At Home is now closed until further notice to ensure staff safety during the current lockdown.
