Previously, the World’s strongest gin documented was 82.5 ABV and made in Sweden. But this Marden-based distillery has smashed all previous records and surpassed expectations by creating a deliciously smooth juniper-forward and subtly citrus gin which delivers a long dry complex finish with hints of liquorice. As with all spirits created by this imaginative distillery, Anno Extreme 95 is distilled in a 300-litre copper pot called Patience.

“We wanted to make a gin which packs more punch and flavour drop-for-drop than any other spirit in the world. Serving suggestions involve using the accompanying science beaker for perfectly accurate measurements:

Light G&T – requires only 5ml measure poured over ice and served with premium tonic and a slice of grapefruit. This delivers full flavour G&T with 75% less alcohol.
Strong G&T – 25ml measure of gin poured over ice and topped up with at least 120ml of premium tonic, they recommend it is garnished with a sprig of bruised thyme. (Equivalent of an ordinary double measure.)
